Give each application a home
Save a role, prepare your materials, and add notes as you go. Saved and tracked live-job snapshots stay separate from fresh discovery results. That means a refresh can update your feed without quietly removing your application history.
Your notes can be simple: a question for the recruiter, the part of the role you want to learn more about, or a reminder to check the employer portal.
Bring recruiter updates into the picture
There are two ways to add email context:
- Paste an email update. Review the proposed tracker change and confirm it yourself.
- Connect Gmail, when the integration is configured. Choose Sync inbox to import job-related message subjects, senders, dates, and snippets with read-only access.
Gmail sync happens when you request it. SchoolWhool does not send email, fetch full message bodies, or download attachments through this integration.
Treat uncertain updates as questions
A clear confirmation or interview invitation with a unique company-and-role match can move an application forward. An ambiguous message needs your review. Offers and rejections also require confirmation before changing your tracker.
The same principle applies to submissions: SchoolWhool marks an application Applied only when a confirmation is observed. If a submission is uncertain, check the employer portal or your email before taking another action. There is no automatic retry of an uncertain submission.
Keep control of the record
You can update your application notes, export your tracker as CSV, or remove a tracked application. Removing an application also removes its associated notes and history, so keep a copy of anything you need first.
