If discovery is the gap

This is the reason a different tracker will not fix. Teal is organised around jobs you bring to it: the extension bookmarks postings you found elsewhere.

SchoolWhool's catalogue is crawled from 285 companies' own career boards through the public APIs of Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Recruitee. There is no HTML scraping and no aggregator anywhere in the chain.

Every role links out to the employer's own posting, every listing carries a first-seen date, and a role a board stops returning is marked closed rather than left in the feed. Browsing it is free with no account. SchoolWhool Pro adds a feed of the whole catalogue ranked against your skills and title, saved jobs, an application tracker and AI reviews.

Worth being blunt about, because for some Teal users this is a downgrade rather than an alternative.

If it was tracking, building or the score

Huntr's free plan covers up to 100 tracked jobs and 100 document uploads, plus 2 job-tailored résumés and 2 application packets — if tracking was the whole value, that may end the decision without a subscription.

Rezi is the more direct purchase if building is the task, with a free tier limited to one résumé and three PDF downloads. Jobscan is the more direct purchase if you specifically want an ATS-style diagnostic.

Honest positioning

  • SchoolWhool is a discovery-and-tailoring product with tracking attached. It replaces Teal well for finding roles and badly for building résumés.
  • The match number beside a role, and the fit assessment an AI review returns, are SchoolWhool's own reading of the posting against your profile. Neither is an employer ATS score, and neither predicts whether you will be hired.
  • It does not apply for you and does not send email.

Can I import my Teal job tracker?

No. There is no import from other trackers. Anything you saved in this browser before signing in is imported once.

Is there a browser extension?

No. Roles come from SchoolWhool's own catalogue of 285 companies' career boards rather than from pages you visit.

Does SchoolWhool build résumés?

No. It tailors a résumé you upload, with every suggested edit quoting an exact passage of your file.
