Saving, drafting and applying are three different things
Conflating them is how a tracker becomes untrustworthy. Each is a separate, deliberate action, and none of them submits anything to an employer.
Save a role
Keeps a snapshot of the listing in your workspace. It stays even if the company later closes the posting, so your history does not evaporate with the job.
Prepare materials
Run a review for a fit assessment, suggested résumé edits and a cover-letter draft. You approve edits one at a time. Approving materials is not applying.
Apply on the employer's site
Every role links out to the company's own posting. You submit there, with what you reviewed, and mark the application in your tracker.

The feed it sits next to
A tracker is only as good as what goes into it. SchoolWhool's catalogue is crawled from 285 companies' own career boards through the public APIs of Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Recruitee. There is no HTML scraping and no aggregator anywhere in the chain.
So every role links out to the employer's own posting, every listing carries a first-seen date, and a role a board stops returning is marked closed rather than quietly left in the feed.
Pro ranks that whole catalogue against your own skills and title and flags what is new since your last visit — measured against the board's first successful crawl too, so adding a company does not flood your feed with roles that have been open for a year.
What it does not do
- It does not apply on your behalf. You submit on the employer's own site, and SchoolWhool never receives your application.
- It does not read your inbox to update statuses. You move an application yourself.
- The match number beside a role, and the fit assessment an AI review returns, are SchoolWhool's own reading of the posting against your profile. Neither is an employer ATS score, and neither predicts whether you will be hired.
- It is not a from-scratch résumé builder, and there is no browser autofill extension.

Where do the jobs come from?
From 285 companies' own career boards, read through the public APIs of the applicant tracking systems those companies use. No aggregator is involved, so a role a board stops returning is marked closed rather than left in your feed.
Can I import a search I already started?
Anything saved in this browser before you signed in is imported into your account once, the first time you sign in.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can delete your workspace data and manage billing without an active subscription; deleting workspace data does not cancel a subscription on its own.
